Rolex DayDate 18238 18k Gold President White Dial 36mm 1989 Quickset Automatic

This Rolex Day-Date reference 18238 features the iconic 36mm case crafted entirely in solid 18k yellow gold and is fitted with the classic President bracelet. Known as the “President,” the Day-Date is one of Rolex’s most prestigious models, recognized for displaying both the day of the week at 12 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock.

The watch showcases a clean white dial with gold stick hour markers and matching gold hands, creating a refined and timeless look. The dial is framed by an elegant 18k yellow gold fluted bezel, one of the signature design elements of the Day-Date. Powering the watch is a Rolex automatic self-winding movement with the desirable double quick-set function, allowing both the day and date to be adjusted independently.

This example carries an “L” serial number, dating production to approximately 1989. The President bracelet currently measures approximately 6 3/4 inches and can be resized to fit your wrist. The bracelet condition rates approximately a 6–7 out of 10, showing normal stretch consistent with age but still wearing comfortably and securely on the wrist.
