Rolex Datejust 16013 Two Tone 36mm Champagne 18k SS Jubilee 1979 Automatic

This vintage Rolex Datejust reference 16013 features the classic 36mm Oyster case crafted in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, paired with the iconic two tone Jubilee bracelet. The watch is fitted with a warm champagne dial accented by classic stick hour markers, creating the timeless look that has made the Datejust one of Rolex’s most recognizable models.

The dial is protected by an acrylic crystal and includes the signature date display at 3 o’clock with cyclops magnification. A beautifully fluted 18k yellow gold bezel frames the dial, adding depth and contrast against the stainless steel case. Powering the watch is a reliable Rolex automatic self winding movement, known for its durability and precision.

This example dates to approximately 1979 and measures about 8 1/4 inches in total bracelet length. As expected for a vintage Jubilee bracelet of this era, the bracelet shows stretch from age and wear; however, when properly sized it will sit comfortably and securely on the wrist.

The watch is in very good vintage condition overall, showing normal signs of wear consistent with age. There are no major flaws or defects, and it presents very well with strong vintage character.

The watch does not include its original Rolex box or papers but will be delivered in a generic green watch box for presentation and storage. In the event of malfunction Sumpters Jewelry will be responsible for and cover all costs in transporting the timepiece to and from Sumpters Jewelry and will cause the defect to be remedied at no cost to the owner. In the event of malfunction no matter the circumstance the consumer must notify Sumpters Jewelry that the watch has malfunctioned and the warranty holder is requesting service.
